- What to expect
- You will learn about the 5 capacities that are essential to your organization. Through structured dialog, assessments, and visual representation you will build a joint understanding of your current effectiveness and discover your weak spots. Based on these insights, collectively you will find actions for improvement and start a learning journey to become fit-for-action.
The workshop is based on the FAUC© framework of GloComNet, a global network with the purpose of understanding and applying social complexity and dealing with uncertainty.
Máté is a certified facilitator of the FAUC© framework, and the founder of Collective Conception an international consultancy on the future of work, organizational strategy and digital transformation. He has been helping over 300 organizations in 16 countries across Europe in their strategy, to become more responsive and/or to drive the adoption of new technologies, new ways of working, and organizing.
During the workshop insights into the theory behind the FAUC© will be also provided. The understanding of uncertainty theory and complex adaptive systems reveals an alternative paradigm, a different view on teams, organizations, institutions, and cities and helps leaders take the right action. You will assess your organization, city, or project based on the 5 capacities and their sub-capacities essential to act under Complexity and Uncertainty. These are:
? Entrepreneurial - the capacity to continuously act
? Alert - the capacity to detect surprises
? Adoptive - the capacity to respond to surprises
? Resilient - the capacity to remain viable after negative surprises
? Creative - the capacity to act in new ways and surprise others
We will use canvases, cards, and Duplo© bricks and structured dialog to stimulate participants to apply the FAUC© framework. Each of the five capacities is extensively explored. The facilitator stimulates a deep learning experience in four steps:
1. Prepare | Explore insights from theory and uncover the FAUC© capacities
2. Build | asses and engage in dialog about the capacities
3. Sense | share insights, analyze strength and weaknesses
4. Act | discus FAUC© principles and determine actions
The workshop builds with its co-creative approach on the wisdom of the people involved. Participate in this workshop with your team or selected participants from across your organization. On request, we can also adjust the delivery to different sized groups from one team to a larger group of people.
