Impressions from the first inHR Award

On 25th October, SAP held the inHR Award Ceremony recognizing the most innovative projects of the HR World at the NZZ building in Zurich. We absolutely loved the idea and opportunity to hear about so many diverse and brilliant initiatives.

These initiatives are being rolled-out across Switzerland and across industries. And addressing topics such us generation, integration, diversity or automation.

OUR PERSONAL FAVOURITE

Our personal highlight was the winner of the New Work category, AXA. In an effort to support its employees in assessing their own abilities as well as in finding suitable and continuing education and job offers, the insurer has developed “Virtual Career Assistants” together with Swiss start-ups. Yes, we are absolutely delighted to see an example of a great partnership between the corporate world and startups. How to take a successful Career path.

What’s also worth highlighting, is the energy and perseverance of the jury team from SAP Switzerland, Deloitte Switzerland, NZZ and St. Gallen University. It took their own initiative and drive to that bring this event to life.
There are some many great ideas out there, from talent programs to HR chatbots, virtual career assistants to smart co-working. Here you will find more about the award and the winners.

INTERESTING KEYNOTES & NETWORKING IMPRESSIONS

The event started with 2 keynotes and we particularly enjoyed the one from SAPs, C. Boos on the power shift from customer to employee experience.

Lastly, it was great to get to know the large HR network at the event and get to know some leadership skills and the trailblazers personally.

Above all, we are looking forward to the next round next year. And what a lovely idea to make the award a traveling one. Next year, this year’s winners will be passing on the trophy to the new winners.

The event created an opportunity to inspire the HR Community to innovate, lead and “sit at the table”.
